Midland Motor Club competitors enjoyed a strong showing at the Galway Summer Stages Rally, held around the Ballinasloe area on Sunday. Keelan Grogan, from Carrick-on-Shannon, and navigator Ayrton Sherlock produced an excellent result in their Ford Fiesta, finishing third overall. Roscommon’s Vincent Collins and Jane Collins finished second in class, while Castlerea pair Bobby and Michele Cooper came home seventh in class in their Toyota Corolla Twincam.
