Property Partners Earley, Roscommon are pleased to report the very successful mulit-lot public auction that they conducted this week in the Central Bar, Roscommon town when two substantial Roscommon farms of lands went under the hammer.
A superior holding of lands containing approx. 168 acres located at Rathconnor, Fourmilehouse was the top performer of the day when selling for €1,800,000. The property attracted strong pre-auction enquiry and opened on the floor at €1,200,000 and after a flurry of 12 bids was eventually knocked down at €1,800,000. Solicitor with carriage of sale was Jennifer Liddy, Messers Liddy Neilan & Co., Roscommon.
The second property on offer was a substantial holding of lands located at Grange, Fourmilehouse containing approx. 150 acres. Interest was strong and bidding opened at €600,000. After 10 brisk bids, the property was sold in trust to a solicitor for the figure of €830,000. Solicitors with carriage of sale were Messers Vincent & Beatty, Dublin.
John Earley (FIPAV), who conducted the auction, reported: “We experienced very strong interest in both properties prior to auction and witnessed very competitive bidding on the auction floor. All properties sold for satisfactory prices and I am pleased to say that land is selling well at the present time. We now require similar properties for the extensive list of underbidders who registered for the auction. We are also taking listings for our December multi-lot auction and we welcome all submissions”.
