Plans have been lodged for a major new residential development comprising 52 homes on the outskirts of Roscommon Town.
Wincove Land Limited is seeking planning permission for the development on a 1.79-hectare site at Ardsallagh Beg and Ballymartin More, off Golf Links Road.
The proposed development would comprise a mixture of houses and duplex apartments.
Plans provide for 43 semi-detached and detached houses, including a mixture of four and five-bedroom homes.
A further eight two-bedroom duplex apartments are proposed across two two-storey blocks.
The development would also include 101 car parking spaces, bicycle parking, public and private open spaces and landscaping.
Vehicular and pedestrian access would be provided from the existing Golf Links Road, while the application also includes associated roads, footpaths, drainage infrastructure, boundary treatments and other site development works.
The proposed development represents another potentially significant addition to Roscommon Town’s housing pipeline.
The application is currently going through the planning process and no decision has yet been made by Roscommon County Council.
