A photograph taken at Lough Key Forest Park has been shortlisted in the Source to Sea category of the 2026 Love Your Coast photography competition.
Noreen Martin’s image, entitled ‘Upside Down… Right Side Up!’, captures a solitary sailboat reflected in the still waters at Waterfront Marina, with McDermott’s Castle visible through the morning mist.
More than 1,100 photographs were entered by 390 amateur photographers in this year’s competition, which is organised by An Taisce’s Clean Coasts programme.
The overall Photographer of the Year award went to Cork photographer Chris Martin for A Bit of a Pinch, an image of an otter carrying a crab along the River Lee.
