Spells Spoken Word Club in Ballaghaderreen is a new open-mic night for writers, musicians, and anyone who wants to come and listen! Poetry, stories, songs and tunes are all welcome. It will be hosted by poet Jessamine O’Connor, with special guests each month.
June’s featured artists are Chris Sparks & Andrew Galvin, fresh from their acclaimed ‘A Crooked Mouth’ show in Sligo.
All are welcome. No booking beforehand, just turn up on the night. Please note that this is held upstairs. Entry is free.
Spells Spoken Word Club will be held every month in Spells Bar, Ballaghaderreen, from 7 pm-9 pm, starting on Thursday, June 8th.
This project is supported by Creative Places Ballaghaderreen Local Creative Call Grant 2026.
