Roscommon Arts Centre names 2026 Artist in Residence recipients

Roscommon Arts Centre has announced its 2026 AIR Artist in Residence recipients.

The three recipients are Laura Brady, who has been awarded the Seed Residency; Louis Haugh, who has been awarded the Visual Art Residency; and Winnie Stokes, who has been awarded the New Voice Residency.

Laura Brady is an actor and theatre-maker, while Louis Haugh is a visual artist born and living in Dublin.

Roscommon artist and creative producer Winnie Stokes will use her residency to further develop a collaborative project exploring stories around life on the road for members of the Traveller community.

The project is being developed in partnership with Promenade and Galway Traveller Movement.

The AIR programme supports artists at different stages of their practice and provides time, space and support to develop new creative work.

Roscommon Arts Centre said it was delighted to announce the 2026 recipients.
