The search for the Roscommon Rose of Tralee 2008 is now on and entries are currently invited from applicants all around the county. The Roscommon Rose of Tralee attracts a large number of entries throughout the county each year and a gala Rose Ball will be held in the Abbey Hotel, Roscommon on Saturday April 26th. The Roscommon Rose of Tralee Committee is very grateful to Bruce Betting who will provide a wine reception the night of the launch and also on the night of the Gala Ball. The main sponsors of the event are Charlie O’Brien, O’Brien’s Pharmacy and Health Food Store in Roscommon town and Paddy Sweeney, Roscommon Retail Park. The committee is delighted to have Charlie O’Brien and Paddy Sweeney on board once again this year. So in order to have the chance of a lifetime as well as helping to raise funds for local and national charities it really couldn’t be simpler.
