The Kilbride No Name Club has now been in existence for 4 years and has had some great achievements at both local and national level. Members of the No Name Club learn through personal experiences in the club that they can make friends, enjoy social outings and have great fun without the use of alcohol or drugs. The young people in the club together with the adult leaders felt it would be nice to give something back to the parish and after many meetings it was decided to start a parish initiative to purchase a number of Defibrillators. These Defibrillators could prove vital in saving a life. A meeting will be held on Thursday 25th October at 8 p.m. in Kilbride Community Centre to set up a committee to see through the purchasing and supplying of these Defibrillators, the meeting will be attended by the No Name Club Committee together with other committee and organisation members. A public meeting will be held in the near future.
