Yellow wind warning issued for Roscommon

Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow Wind Warning for Roscommon which will come into effect tomorrow morning (Wednesday).

The weather warning will cover the entire country from 8 am to 8 pm on Wednesday, with very strong northwest winds developing and widespread gusts of between 90 and 110 km/hour expected.

Heavy downpours are expected for the remainder of today before clearing to showers later this evening.
