The Abbey Health & Fitness Club at the Abbey Hotel, Roscommon was recently presented with the White Flag Award for the fourth year running. The White Flag Award, presented by the Institute of Leisure & Amenity Management, is the essential quality mark for any health and leisure facility that aspires to high standards and efficiency. The award is the only comprehensive quality award for leisure facilities in Ireland. It is also a mandatory requirement for health spas seeking funding from Fáilte Ireland. The award ceremony was held at the Knightsbrook Hotel and Golf Resort in County Meath as part of ILAM’s annual conference and exhibition.
