Roscommon Rose Rebecca Collins proudly represented the county on the national stage on Tuesday night as the 2026 Rose of Tralee International Festival came to a close.
The 24-year-old Kiltoom native was among the final 14 Roses to appear on the second night of the televised selection, hosted by Kathryn Thomas and Dáithí Ó Sé.
Rebecca entertained the audience with a self-penned poem entitled The Reluctant Rose, centred around her initial concerns that she did not have a talent to perform on stage.
It was Westmeath Rose Caoilfhinn Ní Choiligh who was ultimately crowned the 2026 International Rose of Tralee at the conclusion of Tuesday night’s programme.
Ní Choiligh had made a memorable appearance on Monday night when she spoke openly about her experience of alopecia and removed her wig on stage.
