A Co. Westmeath player has won €1 million in Monday night’s Daily Million draw, just days after another player in the county scooped the same amount in the Lotto Plus 1 draw.
The latest winner matched all six numbers in the Daily Million 9pm draw on Monday, March 30th. The winning numbers were 2, 3, 5, 8, 12 and 31, with 18 as the bonus number. The winning ticket was purchased on the day of the draw.
The National Lottery has confirmed that the location where the winning ticket was sold will be revealed on Wednesday, April 1st.
National Lottery spokesperson Emma Monaghan said the latest win follows another major success for the county after a Westmeath player won €1 million in the Lotto Plus 1 draw on Wednesday, March 25th. That winning ticket was purchased at Corrib Oil Service Station on Ballymahon Road in Athlone.
She urged Daily Million players in the Midlands to check their tickets carefully, saying one player is now holding a ticket worth €1 million.
The winner has been advised to sign the back of the ticket, keep it safe and contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or by email at claims@lottery.ie to begin the claims process.
Meanwhile, the National Lottery has also continued to appeal to players in Westmeath to check tickets from the March 25th draw, after Corrib Oil Service Station in Athlone was confirmed as the outlet that sold the winning Lotto Plus 1 Quick Pick ticket.
A Midlands player became the sixth National Lottery millionaire of 2026 with that win, having purchased the ticket on the day of the draw.
Gillian Morris, Head of Retail at Corrib Oil, said staff at the Ballymahon Road service station were thrilled to hear the news and hoped the winner had since checked their ticket.
National Lottery spokesperson Sarah Orr said the winning ticket could still be in a wallet or tucked away at home, and urged anyone who bought a Quick Pick ticket at the Athlone outlet on the day of the draw to check carefully.
Players are also being reminded that Wednesday night’s Lotto jackpot is expected to roll towards an estimated €5 million, with tickets available in-store, through the National Lottery app and online ahead of the 7.45pm sales cut-off.
Nearly 30 cent of every €1 spent on National Lottery games goes to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish language. Since it was established 39 years ago, the National Lottery has raised more than €6.5 billion for Good Causes, including €239.3 million in 2024 alone.
