Seanie McDermott is one of the most committed Roscommon footballers on this or any other panel. Earlier this year there was no prouder man in the county when he was asked to captain the Roscommon senior football team. However despite his pride at leading his team into battle, it was not a great league campaign for Roscommon who, as we all know now, won only one game, were relegated, and of course suffered the loss of their team manager John Maughan only weeks before the championship started.
