The Irish National Darts Organisation’s new ranking season got underway proper with The Cavan County Singles in Bailieborough at the weekend. Seven Roscommon players travelled, with both Sean and Martin Fleming progressing the furthest – bowing out at the last 16, one stage short of the points. A credible total of 112 men and 24 ladies took part on the day, with Cavan’s Aodhagen O’Neill recording a 6-4 victory over Donegal’s Martin McCloskey in the Final. Donegal’s Ange De Warde was Ladies’ winner.
