Two Ballaghaderreen ladies hope to maintain county’s Winning Streak!

There was a double dose of luck for Roscommon women on Winning Streak last week.  Angela Regan from Loughglynn was a contestant on the show, while Bridie Crosby from Stonepark, Granlahan took part in the ‘Money Spinner’ game and won €30,000. Bridie and her husband Michael will be 24 years married in July. They have a son called Gary. Angela Regan from Driney, Loughglynn, purchased her ticket from Dominic Stanley in Ballinlough PO. She won a total of €29,500 plus two holidays, one an around the world trip and another a romantic trip. A native of Leeds, Angela and her husband Michael have been married eleven years and have three daughters Evie, Siobhan and Catriona.  Angela and Michael met in Roscommon. Angela’s mother Maureen is originally from Roscommon and her Dad, Brian is from Donegal. Angela has been travelling over to Ireland on holidays since she was six months old. The only plan she has right now for her winnings is to enjoy them! Her husband bought the lucky ticket, but was too shy to go on the show. The double delight looks set to continue, with a further two women from the Ballaghaderreen area set to appear on next week’s show. Breda Moran from Currinah, Ballaghaderreen and Ursula Mulleady from Circular Road, Ballaghaderreen will both take part in the show.
