A Tulsk farmer will address the Nuffield Ireland conference on Friday, 16th of November 2018 in the Castleknock Hotel, Dublin.
One of Ireland’s most visionary agri-food leaders, Denis Brosnan, will deliver the keynote address. Former CEO and Chairman of the Kerry Group, Denis Brosnan is credited as the driving force behind the success of the multinational food and ingredients company.
Also presenting at the conference is returning Nuffield Scholar, Ed Payne, a dairy farmer from Tulsk in Roscommon. Ed was awarded the prestigious Nuffield Scholarship in 2016 and in 2017 he travelled to USA, Canada, India, Qatar, Turkey and the UK as part of his Nuffield Scholarship and his report focusses on what farmers can do to address the labour shortage by creating a place of work that people will want to work in.
