The Tractor and Car Run in aid of Lough Ree and Roscommon Sub Aqua Clubs turned out to be a great success with upwards on one hundred vehicles taking part.
The charity event, which took place on Sunday, October 24th was organised by Mid Roscommon Vintage Club and a substantial amount of money was raised. A cheque presentation will be made to the two sub aqua clubs in the Fireside Lounge, Clashaganny on Friday 12th November.
The vintage club would like to thank all the people who took part and all the workers who sold raffle cards. The club would also like to thank all the traffic marshalls, stewards and motorcyclists who made everything run so smooth.
Last but not least the club is grateful to the caterers and suppliers of food on the day and to the Lough Ree Sub Aqua Club for hosting the run at Lanesboro.
