The next meeting of the newly formed Boyle Camera Club takes place in King House on Wednesday, October 10th, with a professional photographer booked to give a talk. Members are reminded that they can still submit photographs for consideration through the realBoyle.com website. For this first session of comments and discussion, the subject is open, although for future meetings, there will be a theme and submissions will be restricted to three per member. Club members are expected to have an interest in developing their photographic skills, with access to a digital camera (compact or SLR), and basic computer skills and an email address. A number of knowledgeable professional photographers have agreed to give talks and pass on tips at future club meetings, which will be on the second Wednesday of the month, from 8 pm until 9.30 pm. Membership fees will be due at the next meeting and for the year will be €50, or €30 for students, OAPs and the unwaged.
