Last Friday saw the Irish Six Nations team, which includes Ballinaheglish’s Thomas Concannon, take to Hannon’s Hotel as they continued their warm-up preparations by taking on a selection of local players. A strong Roscommon outfit gave the national team some stiff opposition in some enjoyable matches, which will benefit both groups of players in the long run.
A Round Robin competition will take place in The Hollywood Bar, Roscommon this Bank Holiday Monday 6th June. €10 entry for adults, €5 for youths’.
