The Midsummer’s Day with the Stars which will take place at Roscommon Racecourse on Sunday, June 25th is once again expected to attract large crowds from all over the country and abroad.
The final preparations for the event which is also being billed as a family fun day are well underway. One of the largest stages in Ireland will be erected on site and the racecourse will be transformed into a massive playground area to facilitate families with small children. The organisers are keen to remind parents that children under 12 are free but they must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Roscommon Racecourse is ideally suited to host this major event with its top class hospitality areas which include beautiful purpose-built bars and restaurants, and once again this year free camping and parking areas will be available on site.
The organisers have recently confirmed that The king of country music Big Tom will perform on the day and he will be joined by some of the biggest names on the Irish country music scene including Nathan Carter, Michael English, Jimmy Buckley, Patrick Feeney, Margo and Philomena Begley.
