Top darts!

The Hannon’s Hotel sponsored Roscommon Darts League threw up a thriller last Friday night when The Hollywood Bar narrowly lost 5-4 to McDermott’s. Featuring a total of seven 180s and a 13-dart leg from David Concannon, a 15-darter from Thomas Concannon and a 16-dart leg from Martin Fleming, this game had everything. Wayne Harries also deserves a mention as he hit 16 and 17-dart legs in his singles win.

An Bóthar Rua and Molly’s played out another excellent match with the hosts just edging the Ballaghaderreen outfit 5-4. James Sharkey and Fergus Kilroy with 116 and 115 finishes respectively.

In Roscommon town, The Holly Tree proved too strong for Creaton’s as they ran out 7-2 winners while Flanagan’s will play The Three Counties at a later date.

  This week’s fixtures: Molly’s v The Holly Tree; Creaton’s v The Hollywood Bar; McDermot’s v Three Counties; An Bóthar Rua v Flanagan’s.
