Glenn Walshe (St. Coman’s) had a good win over Sligo’s Kevin Meehan in Collooney last Saturday in their Over 35 ‘B’ Connacht semi-final. Glenn used his experience to take a very tight first game 21-18 and eased his way to a 21-12 win in the second.

Laura Mannion (St. Coman’s) lost out in her Connacht Junior ‘B’ semi-final to Sligo’s Laura Finn played in St. Coman’s on Saturday last on a scoreline of 17-21, 8-21.

Both had good wins in their semi-finals last weekend, the Curraghboy pair beating Mount Talbot’s Alan Hevehan and Liam O’Ceallaigh and the Fairymount duo looking very impressive beating Curraghboy’s John Kelly and Alan Mannion.
