The death took place last week after a long illness of well-known Roscommon town resident Mrs. Kathleen Connolly of Goff Street. She was pre-deceased by her husband Paddy some years previously. Mrs. Connolly is mourned by her son Kevin and by daughters Marie, Carmel, Bernadette and Patricia, grandchildren, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, further relatives and friends. The large attendance at her requiem Mass in the Sacred Heart Church and and burial at St. Comans cemetery was an indication of the esteem in which Kathleen Connolly was held by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
