Take the Roscommon Community Challenge!

Registration is now open for Roscommon Community Challenge 2022. The ‘no fuss, no frills’ event will take place on Friday, March 4th this year in Roscommon town and will comprise a 5k and 10k run/walk suitable for all levels of fitness and ability.

Training is ongoing in conjunction with Roscommon Sports Partnership every Monday and Wednesday evening from 7 pm at Roscommon Community Sports Park in Lisnamult and it’s never too late to join in.

To celebrate the return of activities, organisers are also currently running a ‘February Friend Challenge. Simply register at eventbrite.ie ‘Roscommon Community Challenge’ and like and share the event’s Facebook and Instagram pages before February 14th and you and friend will be in with a chance of winning your entry fees back for this year’s event.

Proceeds from this year’s event will go towards Roscommon Special Olympics and Roscommon Community Sports Park. The event is run in conjunction with Roscommon Sports Partnership. This is an ideal opportunity for the whole community to come together following Covid-19.

For those running against the clock, the Community Challenge is a timed event, but those who aren’t are invited to come along for the fun.
