Successful Tractor/Vintage run for a heartfelt cause in Loughglynn

There was a large turnout in Loughglynn recently for a Tractor/Vintage/Bike Run in aid of the Heart and Lung Transplant in the Mater Hospital.

The worthy cause had a special local connection as one of the organisers, James Creaton, underwent a heart transplant operation in late 2020.

James’ wife, Kathleen, said the Creatons were blown away by the level of support they received.

“It was a great success…we never expected it and we are overwhelmed by the support,” she said.

“A group of local people came together to organise the event and we decided to do it for charity. James had a very successful heart transplant at the end of 2020 so the Heart and Lung Transplant Unit at the Mater Hospital was the chosen charity”.

Donations towards this very worthy cause are still very welcome through the group’s JustGiving page (search for Loughglynn Truck, Tractor and Vintage Run).
