Successful 2018 at Sean Naughton Auctioneers

Sean Naughton Auctioneers has had a very successful year across all sectors of the property market.

Sean says it is notable that government policy is having an effect and the economy is stronger.

“It is good to see all parties working together for the greater good of the country” he said.

Sean noted one area having an effect on the market is the “banks’ sluggishness” and in some case insurmountable hurdles are, he says, being put before customers who are trying to access lending.

“Decisions are been made by accountants in Dublin and authority has been taken from local and regional branch level – and this is having a negative effect on the market”.

A number of properties were sold by Sean Naughton Auctioneers over a wide area during 2018, including houses in Strokestown, Co. Roscommon; Doonen, Ballinameen, Co. Roscommon; Knockcroghery, Co. Roscommon; Town Centre, Ballygar, Co. Galway; Fartown, Glenamaddy, Co. Galway; Brookvale Avenue, Roscommon town; Cloonconra, Ballymurray, Co. Roscommon; 19, Lanesboro St., Roscommon Town; 18, Lanesboro St., Roscommon Town. Land sales include circa 10 acres at Ballymurray, Co. Roscommon and circa 12 acres at Grange, Co. Roscommon.
