Thomas Higgins has safely negotiated the first stage of DP World Tour Qualifying School in Bristol, finishing 10th after four rounds to progress to Stage Two in Spain this October.
At the KPMG Irish Women’s Open, Olivia Costello missed the halfway cut but signed off with an excellent two-under-par round of 70 on Friday alongside Leona Maguire and Shannon Tan, earning plenty of praise from the TV commentators and pundits.
Meanwhile, Cian O’Connor secured a top-15 finish at the French Open Amateur Championships in Paris, ending the three-round tournament on six under par, six shots behind the winner.
