Strokestown Agricultural Show takes place over two days, Saturday and Sunday, 8 th and 9 th of September next. Details of the show were launched in Strokestown last week. Sunday 9 th September promises to be a real family day. Meanwhile one of the highlights of the Show weekend is the Rose of the Show competition which is its third year running at the event (see contestants pictured alongside). This year there are twenty girls participating in the competition, representing many different local businesses, sports clubs and voluntary organisations within the locality.
