Status Yellow thunderstorm warning for County Roscommon this evening

Met Eireann have placed a status yellow thunderstorm warning on County Roscommon and other neighbouring counties for this evening which will be in place until 9 pm tonight.

The national weather service have said there is a potential of heavy downpours of rain and hail with the thunderstorms.

Road users are asked to be aware of difficult traveling conditions, spot flooding and poor visibility.
