Met Éireann have issued a Status Orange Thunderstorm and Rain warning for Roscommon and the rest of Ireland for the afternoon and evening.
According to Met Éireann, Thunderstorms and very heavy showers, producing significant rainfall accumulations over short time periods, are to be expected.
Possible Impacts are as follows:
- Flash flooding
- Very difficult travelling conditions with reduced visibility
- Power outages
The warning is valid from 13:12 to 18:00 today.
