Stabbing investigated Gardai in Roscommon Town are investigating a stabbing incident in the Galway Road area of the town which happened around noon on Tuesday. Three men walked into a house in the area and stabbed a man who is understood to be a foreign national. The man sustained injuries to his legs and was taken to Roscommon County Hospital where his injuries were said not to be serious. Gardaí have appealed to the public for information. If anyone saw anything suspicious in the Galway Road area of Roscommon Town on Tuesday between 11.30 am and 12.30 pm they are asked to contact Roscommon Gardai on (090) 66 38300.
