St. Patrick’s Day Parades in Boyle and Elphin on Sunday

The Ballaghaderreen St. Patrick’s Day Parade may have been called off but annual parades will take place in both Boyle and Elphin.    Local businesses, organisations and clubs are getting ready for St Patrick’s Day with Boyle Parade on the Sunday (March 16th) this year. Come out and support them – and look out for the antics of the stallholders and organisers of Boyle Farmers Market, who plan to be part of the parade.  The Family Life Centre has a float and the local Brownies will be there too, plus many others. The fun takes place along the familiar route, with assembly at Mockmoyne (Carty’s Garage) from 3 pm. The parade then proceeds down St. Patrick Street, over the bridge, past the viewing stand at Daly’s and on to the Crescent. Don’t miss the fun – and meanwhile, pray for some decent weather!  The Elphin Parade meanwhile will take place in the town at 3 pm on Sunday, March 16th. The Elphin Parade is always special – please come along and support!
