Large Schools final: Loughglynn NS 2-10 Strokestown NS 1-3. 3-4 Teacher School final: Fourmilehouse NS 5-20  Gortaganny 1-5.  10 years ago…..1998 IFC: St. Dominics 1-12 St. Josephs 1-9.  O’Rourke Cup: Oran 3-6 Castlerea 1-5; Padraig Pearses 4-10 St. Faithleachs 1-10; Strokestown 1-14 Western Gaels 0-9; Clann na nGael 0-17 Tulsk 2-8; Michael Glaveys 2-11 Kilglass Gaels 0-5; Elphin 0-8 Kilmore 0-7; Kilbride 1-22 Eire Og 3-8; St. Brigids 3-17 St. Michaels 1-6.    There were three sections of the O’Rourke Cup that year.
