Ballinasloe-based business, SMK Studios, was recently recognised as “best in class” by the All-Ireland Business Foundation. The accreditation is an outstanding achievement for SMK Studios By Sarah Kilduff Photography, as it recognises the hard work and dedication of the team in providing best in class service to their customers.
The accreditation is overseen by the prestigious All-Ireland Business Foundation, whose adjudication panel is chaired by Dr. Briga Hynes (Kemmy Business School at the University of Limerick) and Kieran Ring (CEO of the Global Institute of Logistics).
Based in Ballinasloe and founded by PI Institute graduate and Co. Roscommon native, Sarah Kilduff, SMK Studios specialises in milestone portraiture (especially newborn, children and family photography), and also provide documentary-style wedding and engagement photography.
Responding to the announcement, Sarah Kilduff said: “Being included into the Business All-Stars community is an overwhelming achievement for SMK Studios. As a young businesswoman, I am thrilled to be involved in such a recognised programme and am looking forward to the adventures the remainder of 2021 will bring.
“I believe that my customers will appreciate the effort I have put in to prove that our services and product are the best on the local business platform, and that I will go above and beyond to creatively keep delivering the highest-quality photography services possible. I would like to thank my client base at this time for their continued support, especially during lockdown”.
Kieran Ring (Deputy Chair on the Adjudication Board) said: “This certificate verifies that SMK Studios By Sarah Kilduff Photography has achieved AIBF 2021-1008 Business All-Stars Accreditation, in recognition of the company’s conduct in the areas of trust, performance and customer centricity. SMK Studios by Sarah Kilduff Photography is hereby included in The AIBF Register Of Irish Business Excellence”.
Dr. Hynes said the accreditation – which is now held by over 450 firms – is needed by the thousands of small and medium businesses that operate to their own standards but have nothing to measure them by.
The All-Ireland Business Foundation is a national body that accredits best in class Irish businesses as Business All-Stars. The foundation also oversees the All-Ireland Business Summit, while promoting peer dialogue amongst our members on an on-going basis.
Sarah Kilduff was also recently nominated for the prestigious award of ‘Young Entrepreneur Of The Year’ in the Micro Business Awards 2021. The Micro Business Awards are leaders in celebrating Ireland’s small businesses and owners, and appreciate the nation’s best through recognition of their success and continuous hard work. SMK Studios has made the final three in its category against many leading businesses.
The awards will take place in October when the winner will be chosen directly by a judging panel of business experts.
