Smashbox products were created for the needs of make-up artists, photographers and models working at smashbox studios in Los Angeles. Every product is artistically created based upon the view from behind the camera, for a look that is as flawless as a finished photograph. Customers can choose from smashbox make-up and also the new skincare range H2O plus. You can also activate your eco-chic conscience this spring with smashbox Green Room, a new range of ecologically minded cosmetics inspired by mother nature and the moringa tree. Until recently, the smashbox range was exclusive to the luxury department stores in Dublin and was also used at Lyrath House spa, but is now coming to Roscommon. One of the most popular products is the smashbox ‘Photo Finish’ foundation primer, an innovative product which results in the flawless skin demanded by professional photographers. The smashbox eye shadow range is also a much-sought-after range, as is the new skincare range which contains demerexyl. Make-up artists at McGuinness Pharmacy, Shirley Whyte-Kelly explains, ‘It plumps up lines so it’s for the more mature people or people worried about the first signs of ageing.’ McGuinness Pharmacy also stocks the smashbox range of brushes, a professional brush range much in vogue with top make-up artists.
