The Glenamaddy Summer Festival takes place from Thursday, July 5th to Sunday, July 8th with a whole host of events scheduled over the four days.
The festival kicks off at 7.30 pm on Thursday the 5th with a Car Treasure Hunt starting in the car park of the community centre.
Friday sees a ‘Biodiversity Walk’ with Catherine Seale from 6-8 pm, Drive-In Bingo at 7.30 pm with a jackpot of €1,000 and a free open-air concert with Matthew O’Donnell rounding off the day at 9.30 pm.
The fun continues on the Saturday with the indoor market and outdoor car boot sale taking place at Glenamaddy Community Centre from 11 am and a Children’s Disco from 4-6 pm with DJ Explosive!
Sunday is Family Fun Day of course and the fun starts at 1.30 pm in Collins Park Playground. Later on, there’s Pig Racing on the Ballymoe Road so make sure to buy your pig!
The festival will draw to a close later that evening with free live music by Break Free on Ballymoe Road.
Of course there will be entertainment and craic in local pubs and businesses throughout the weekend and Murray’s Amusements will be located in Divilly’s Car Park nightly.
