Seeing the reel thing

The second ‘Reel Thing’ evening is about to happen at Roscommon Arts Centre, when the Alan Kelly Quartet makes a welcome return to the stage on Tuesday 9th October. The Reel Thing is Roscommon Arts Centre’s new traditional music programme, the launch of which was warmly received in September when Steve Cooney and Tony McMahon’s performance prompted a standing ovation from a very pleased audience at the end of the night. The monthly traditional and folk music sessions are proving to be very popular with local audiences and Alan Kelly’s return to the arts centre stage next week, promises to be another reel thing highlight.
