Sean Moylan officially launched his campaign for the upcoming local election in O’Connor’s Bar, Tulsk, on Easter Saturday, March 30th. He is a candidate for Fianna Fáil in the Boyle LEA.

In attendance were current TD and European election candidate Barry Cowen, Senator Eugene Murphy, Joe Murphy (outgoing local councillor), Aidan Sampey and James Murray (both local election candidates), many Fianna Fàil delegates, and supporters.

Mr Moylan spoke about the wider family influence that played into his decision to run for office, citing their long association with the Fianna Fáil party, his ambition for his constituency, and why he felt this was the right time for him to enter politics.

The attendees also heard from Barry Cowen TD about his ambitions for the Midlands-North-West constituency in the European elections, and the importance at this time of bringing mainstream politics back to Europe to help Ireland have more influence.

A great night was had by all, and Sean stated he is very much looking forward to meeting all constituents over the duration of the campaign.
