Scoil Mhuire Parents Association this week thanked all those involved in making their fundraising social and draw a wonderful night recently in the Percy French Hotel, Strokestown. They would like to thank the Percy French for the lovely venue, Padraig Farrell and Fanfare for the lively music, all the parents and staff who came on the night and who sold so many tickets and worked so hard to make the night a success. Sponsors were also thanked. A total of €17,800 was made from the event. The lucky winners from the draw on the night were as follows: 1st prize Plasma TV Amanda Higgins, Raheen, Elphin; 2nd prize Weekend away James Wallace, Graffogue, Scramogue; 3rd prize Digital camera, Mary Dowd, Ballymagrine, Rooskey.
