Scór update

Calling all G.A.A. clubs: Scór na nÓg is nearly upon us again so it’s time to start preparing your Novelty Acts and practice those dancing steps.  The following are the dates and venues for the qualifying rounds. Southern Semi-Finals:  November 23rd in Ballyforan and November 24th in Culleen Hall, Lecarrow. Northern Semi-Finals:  December 7th in Tarmonbarry and December 8th in Boyle.   All competitions start at 8 pm sharp and clubs are reminded that, as this is a GAA competition, all competitors must be registered members of the club they are representing, otherwise they are not eligible to compete. Entry forms have been sent to all club secretaries and on return of the entry forms, teams will be allocated a slot at one of the first round venues.    If for any reason a team feels that they will be unable to compete at their allotted venue they must notify Coiste Scór Ros Comáin seven days in advance of the competition. This will allow time for the club to discuss the issue, and an alternative date, with us. The decision of Coiste Scór Ros Comáin, following these discussions, will be final.  In other news, due to popular demand the closing date for entries to the Scór na bPaisti competition has now been extended. Entry forms must now be returned to the Regional Co-Ordinators before 5 pm on Friday the 19 th . It is hoped that dates and venues will be announced next week.
