Teachers in primary and second level schools, whose pupils take part in the annual Texaco Children’s Art Competition, are reminded that the closing date for receipt of entries this year is Friday, 29th February next. Last year, 508 pupils from schools in Co. Roscommon submitted entries to the competition. Roscommon’s 2007 winner: 7 year old Rebecca Farrell, (pictured above), a student at Enfield National School, Castlerea pictured receiving her award from Declan McAndrew, Texaco Country Chairman.
