King House, Boyle presents "Notes on a Scandal" (16) directed by Richard Eyre, starring Judi Dench and Cate Blanchett. A witty, acerbic and entertaining adaptation of Zoe Heller’s novel "What Was She Thinking: Notes on a Scandal", with a wicked screenplay by playwright Patrick Marber (Closer). When Sheba Hart (Cate Blanchet) joins St. George’s as the new art teacher, Barbara (Judi Dench) senses a kindred spirit. But Barbara is not the only one drawn to her. Sheba begins an illicit affair and Barbara becomes the keeper of her secret. Notes on a Scandal is a story of loneliness, loyalty, envy and love. Thursday 6th December at 6 and 8.30 pm.
