Born in Madrid, Spain, raised in Chicago, USA, and now based in Penzance, Cornwall, singer/guitarist and songwriter Sarah McQuaid makes a return guest appearance with the South Roscommon Singers Circle in Murray’s, Knockcroghery, this Saturday night 5th April. Sarah first performed at this popular landmark venue in early 2007 and is back due to popular demand. She has since recorded her second album, featuring mostly American old-timey folk songs and tunes plus a couple of her own original compositions, which is due for release later this year. As always, singers and listeners are welcome on Saturday night, admission is free and the singing starts around 9.30 pm.
