A Safe Talk workshop will be held on 5 th June in the Hodson Bay Hotel, Athlone between 9.30 am and 12.30 pm. The HSE are inviting people to attend. The programme aims to help all members of your community identify persons with thoughts of suicide and connect them to suicide first aid resources. Places are limited. Interested parties can go on at a later date to attend a two-day suicide intervention skills first aid programme known as Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST).
