Roscommon Community Playschool is looking for people running the Women’s Mini Marathon to donate their sponsorship to the playschool. Anyone who is running the Women’s Mini Marathon on Bank Holiday Monday 2nd of June 2008 and is looking for a charity please consider the Roscommon Community Playschool. Roscommon Community Playschool is a charity and provides high scope preschool education to children in Roscommon. The playschool is open to all and offers everyone regardless of income a chance to access preschool learning. This year the Department of Health and Children have cut back on funding for community playschools and Roscommon Community Playschool is continually fundraising to meet the shortfall. Next year there will be an even greater shortfall in funding. Playschool leaders are looking for support for the Playschool, which is a valuable resource and service in the Roscommon area. For 14 years, children have attended this playschool, so maybe there is someone out there who has benefited from it and would like to donate their sponsorship to the Playschool.
