Roscommon 0-21 Donegal 0-9
Roscommon footballers finished their league campaign in style at Dr Hyde Park today with a comprehensive 0-21 to 0-9 win over a poor Donegal outfit.
It means that Davy Burke’s men finish third in the league table wit
h 8 points, just behind Mayo and Galway who meet in the league final next Sunday.
Roscommon made a much better start this time and led by 0-12 to 0-7 at half-time.
The home side outscored Donegal by nine points to three in the second half with Brian Stack Enda Smith Ben O’Carroll Ciaráin Murtagh and Dylan Ruane outstanding.
Roscommon now face Mayo in the Connacht championship on Easter Sunday.
