If so, then make a date with the county’s premier talent contest, Scór, which takes place in Culleen Hall, Knockcroghery on Good Friday, March 21 st . Scór is a talent competition run by the GAA and people represent their club in figure dancing, solo singing, instrumental music, recitation, ballad group, novelty act, question time and set dancing. Winners from the Roscommon heat qualify for the Connacht finals and if they are successful there they will perform at the national final which takes place in the INEC, Killarney in front of 2000 people with the chance to appear on TV – the event is recorded for broadcasting on RTÉ 1.
