Heartfelt thanks Happy Heart wish to thank all who contributed so generously to their collection on Friday and Saturday, 11th and 12th May. A grand sum of €5,486.63 was raised, thanks to all involved. Special fundraiser St. Coman’s Handball Club are holding a fundraiser in aid of Special Olympics on Saturday, 16th June at 2 pm. Please support.  Kayaking course Roscommon Sports Partnership is running Kayaking Courses in the Summer.  If you are aged between 12 and 18 or 18 and over and are interested in learning how to kayak, call Sarah on (086) 3546930.  Courses can be level 1 or 2 depending on demand. Spanish students Would you be interested in having a Spanish school going student, aged  between 12-13 yrs. stay in your home for the month of July?  The students, both boys and girls attend school Monday to Friday; they go on tour every Saturday and would spend Sunday with you and your family. The students come for all of July and a fee of €620 per month is paid to you for keeping the student. Roscommon would like to say a big ‘thank you’ to all who supported the Storytelling Night with renowned Seanachaí Mr. Vincent Pierse on Thursday the 3rd May at Roscommon Arts Centre. A total of €1,005.40 was raised from the night. Your generosity is very much appreciated.
