Recent deaths Ms. Aideen Barrett (nee O’Keefe), sister of Terry O’Keefe, Antogher Road, passed away in Cyprus recently. The funeral took place at the Sacred Heart Church last Wednesday morning and was followed by burial at St. Coman’s cemetery. Mrs. Rena Bryan, mother of Mildred Feely, Antogher Road, passed away recently. Parish Council meeting A meeting of Roscommon Town parish council will take place on Tuesday 1st April in Parochial House at 8.00 p.m. All members are invited to attend. Divine Mercy Sunday Divine Mercy Sunday will be celebrated on Sunday next 30th March commencing at three o’clock in the Church. Chaplet, enthronement of Divine Mercy Image and exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will be followed by Benediction. Medjugorje peace Mass The Medjugorje peace Mass will commence on Tuesday 1st April at St. Coman’s Club, Roscommon. It will start with Rosary at 8 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Mass will be held on the first Tuesday of every month. On occasions, there will be guest speakers, talks and testimonies. Everyone welcome.
