The Tidy Towns annual Church gate collection will take place this weekend, the 2nd/3rd of May, in Roscommon town. All proceeds will go towards projects to enhance the town. Your support will be appreciated.
With six weeks to go before judging for the National Tidy Towns competition, the members of Roscommon Tidy Towns Association are busy preparing for the judges’ visit. The town is at Gold Medal status in the competition, and the members are aiming to improve and to gain more points. Everyone can play their part by maintaining their own property.
The members meet on Tuesday evenings at 7 pm in the car park opposite the Garda Station. New members are always welcome to assist with planting flowers, painting and litter picking. Think Tidy, Let’s Keep Roscommon Clean.
